Hotel Indigo LES is probably one of my favorite hotels! From the moment the doorman lets you in, you will be amazed by the cool vibe of this hotel!
Graffiti , found objects, and street art motifs permeate the hotel, just as they permeate the neighborhood surrounding it.The entrance is incredible. Whether you enter from Ludlow Street, the decor is hip and trendy.
The lobby is located on the 14th floor and the highlight is the ceiling mural installation by famed graffiti artist Lee Quinones.
There is plenty of comfortable seating, a workstation, free WIFI and a cafe with pastries, pressed juices and coffee. There are giant floor to ceiling windows giving unobstructed views of Brooklyn all the way up to the Empire State Building. You will want to hang out here, even if you’re not staying in the hotel!
The 15th floor is home to Mr. Purple bar. This space is quite unique with its minimal design. There are comfortable sofas and chairs scattered around the space. There are also two outside seating areas.
The views of Manhattan from the outside area of Mr Purple are some of the best in the city! There is also a small bar and seating around the pool. This is an amazing area to just sit and enjoy the city!
The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. There is modern furniture and murals by Lee Quinones. The bed and pillows are comfortable and there is a spa style bathroom with C.O. Bigelow products. Each room also has a mini bar, flat screen TV, a laptop sized safe, hairdryer and iron.
